Chris Hennessey, PA, is an orthopaedic physician assistant at Woodbury Spine in Woodbury, New Jersey, the leading spinal care facility in the area. Chris works with Evan O'Brien, MD, an orthopaedic spine specialist, to diagnose and treat back pain, neck pain, and other issues affecting the spine.
Chris earned his physician assistant degree at MCP Hahnemann University, now Drexel University College of Medicine, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. While in school, Chris earned a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Community and Volunteer Services.
In his role at Woodbury Spine, Chris takes medical histories, performs physical exams, and interprets imaging like MRIs, CTs, and X-rays. Chris regularly diagnoses and treats all types of conditions, diseases, and issues affecting the spine. Some of the many treatment options available at Woodbury Spine include oral medication, physical therapy, spinal injections, and surgery.
In a hospital environment, Chris assists with spine surgery, performs daily rounds, and consults with patients. He works both independently and together with Dr. O’Brien to help individuals get the very best spine care.
